Some of my favorite foods already disappeared prior to Covid. Since then, there have been various shortages. While some shortages are temporary, there has been, for example, no chocolate-flavored yogurt at any stores in my area for at least six months.

Here in Indiana, prices are up. But, being in the middle of farm land, we still have plenty of food. The lady down the way brings me fresh eggs and I stocked up months ago. But, it’s Indiana and it’s winter. You’re a fool if you don’t have extra food when the snow comes. I’m sure I could find a local farm kid at school to get beef and chicken from if I needed it. Seems it’s good not living on the east coast or in the city.

Just came back from Kroger. 95% of the fresh chicken section is EMPTY.
Frozen vegetables - 50% empty
Certain sections of canned goods are wiped out.
Smaller, but noticeable empty spots all over the store
