When your New World Order plans call for an Extremist Right Wing group and you don’t have one, you create your own. The American Nazi Party was created by the Deep State in the late 1950’s to sow domestic terror and doubt.

Remember, many were getting marching orders from Moscow, and Hitler and Stalin were aligned/allied via the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact from 1939 until 1941

It is nearly a comical point in American history. Protestors outside the White House advocating isolationism until Barbarossa then overnight we had to support our ally mother Russia against Hitler.

Comintern was very busy telling the US media what to say in midsummer 1941...Still are today.

One of the interesting things about Harold Arrowsmith was his father’s membership in several US based Communist Groups.

Harold Sr. was involved with the Russian War Relief Corp. and Institute of Pacific Relations (a Rockefeller funded front for Reds during the 20s/30s.)

Totalitarians and Authoritarians drink from the same well and their adherents often converge however paradoxical that seems

That appears paradoxical because a political scale has been inculcated which measures from a midpoint on a line to two ends, each resulting in totalitarianism. The absence of government, or anarchism, appears nowhere on that scale. A more realistic scale would have Anarchism at one end, and Totalitarianism at the other end.

Stylistically different forms of totalitarianism are not polar opposites. They belong in the same place. We can debate where that place should be, but on the scale they should be right next to each other or at the same exact point.

Moving along that scale, we would go from Anarchy to the smallest government which could effectively govern, to the largest government which does not overly intrude on individual rights, to Totalitarianism.

British historian Paul Johnson accurately captured the similarity of Communist Russia and Nazi Germany by calling them Gangster Regimes. That’s what they shared. They ruled their own people by terror and threatened their neighbors with war.

When the Nazi party was still very small and Hitler hadn’t yet consolidated power he had a rival for control who was a socialist. The name escapes me but it’s all described in the early chapters of Shirer. Hitler of course won the battle and he put a stake through the socialism idea. He assured German industrialists that Nazism wasn’t a threat and they responded with support.

Ernst Rohm.

“Hatemonger Hill” was the name George Lincoln Rockwell gave to his American Nazi compound in Arlington, Virginia. It was at the end of the street one of my friends lived on, Madison St if I recall correctly. Every once in a while a carful of prospective “nazis” would stop and ask us for directions. They were the saddest looking bunch you can imagine. Not exactly the cream of Aryan manhood. The idea that they were organized by the “Deep State” is pretty hard to believe. For one thing no one had ever heard of the Deep State in 1965 and Rockwell’s Nazis looked about as organized as a bar full of middle aged drunks.

The “compound” is now Upton Hill Park. The little shopping center where one of Rockwell’s disgruntled followers shot and killed him was across Wilson Blvd.

“Ernst Rohm.”

No, Rohm was the SA guy. This other one was a good deal smarter and not a thug like Rohm. This was earlier than when Hitler whacked the Rohm faction. I don’t think violence was involved here, it was a power play. I’ll have to see if I can find the guy’s name. It may even have been two brothers. Goebbels was another one who was an enthusiastic socialist. But he also hero worshipped Hitler and that ended up being more important.

I’ve been reading “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” and while the adoption of Nazism by Germany seems utterly ridiculous, its closest parallel in modern America is the rise of Antifa/BLM and the politicians and corporations who own and operate them as foot soldiers. There just wasn’t much visible difference between the beliefs of German Communists and Nazis other than perhaps a reverence for the military and national history on the part of the latter.

Maybe it was Gregor Strasser.

“Maybe it was Gregor Strasser.”

That’s the guy. He was the socialist true believer and had he won the struggle with Hitler the Nazis would have been socialist in fact instead of name only.

Of course it never was wise to get in a power struggle with Hitler and like Ernst Rohm, Gregor Strasser didn’t make it through the Night of the Long Knives.

Remember when Major Strasser got shot?

They rounded up the usual suspects.

I was reading it recently as well, and if you strip away the racism and violence the power grab that the Nazis used is a bit too similar to what the current Democratic party appears to be up to. Accusing political opponents of treason and attempting to jail them.

"The idea that they were organized by the “Deep State” is pretty hard to believe."

No one is arguing the CIA or Deep State or some Cabal was organizing a bunch of usually drunk high-school dropouts.

The organizer for this particular extremist group was George Lincoln Rockwell.

The conventional story (MSM) was that he really was a nutty-neo-Nazi, in the same way that Lee Harvey Oswald was a cockamamie Communist.

The MSM narrative not withstanding, there is a lot of evidence Rockwell was less of a nutty-Nazi and more of an operative for the Deep State or whatever you want to call it.

At your lowest level, you had local losers who were willing to march around saying "sig heil" for free beer.

Their "organizer" and public face was Rockwell.

Arrowsmith is the guy who had lots of connections to East Coast elite families and money to give to Rockwell for printing presses, uniforms and beer.
