If you believe, in your heart, that you’ve made your peace, you have.
Matthew 3:3-4
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
I think that even if WE still have doubts or fears (”poor in spirit”); God sees our hearts. Better than the Pharisee that goes around saying “Thank you God that I’m so much better than these sinners!”
