Well that’s not very ‘inclusive’ of them.
Remember when professors simply gave lectures to whomever showed up to class
Makes me so glad I retired from uni teaching and got the frak out before the sh*t just went utter stupid in academia......
Defund the universities.
Major University Eyes Forcing Professors to Pledge to ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ ...
OR they will not be included
When will this ever end?
UT of all places!
“obtained 322 pages of new diversity guidelines “
Houston, we have a problem .
OR they will not be included
Could not be said any better....LOL
our country is going mad.
These articles keep me going back & double checking to see if it’s from the🐝.
Our country has fallen & can’t get up.....
One more page taken directly from the annals of 1930’s German history. The universities were among the first to institute loyalty oaths. In 1933 Philosopher Edmund Husserl, who could no longer be published due to the anti-Jewish legislation and his own past political incorrectness, termed it the “materialistic-mythical racial prejudices of the day”. Sound familiar? His student and successor Martin Heidegger joined the Nazi party that year. These were, and are, universities that have always flattered themselves as bastions of free thought. Self-flattery is all that it is.
I remember taking a class in Western Civilization when I was in junior college.
These days, I imagine that type of thing might be banned or every chapter in the book turned into a class on systemic racism.
China’s Cultural Revolution is here.
The absolute worst return on investment, for at least 80% of enrollees, is a college degree.
When will the populace finally figure this out ?
This absolutely pervades throughout the military. In a couple years, the military will look like the student body of UC Berkley.
It’s halfway there now.
I was thinking about simply asking when they'll start demanding stiff armed salutes while shouting Sieg Heil! After all, they're demanding conformance and allegiance to their Reich.
This time it is UT!
When I was a lowly student about 30 years ago things were tolerable but not perfect. You could even be known as a conservative and some people might smirk or give you a dirty look but that was about it. I can’t imagine how bad it must be to be a thinking student or a non-Marxist professor nowadays.
Sounds like a loyalty oath to me. Remember when those were considered bad?
As long as they let me define the meaning of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”, and apply it as I see fit, sure, I’d agree to that. The university would be VERY unhappy with the results, though.
