Communism is slavery. If you tell a person the truth, that they are going to have to be a slave, you wouldn’t be able to convince anyone.

This is what is going on. They are immersed in the Leftist world view. It is a horrible predicament, because their basic assumptions about the nature of reality are wrong.
You can be very smart, and very logical, and still reach horribly wrong conclusions, if your assumptions are wrong.
It is very difficult for adults to change their basic assumptions about how the universe works.
And there are people, even here on FR, that actually think that these ignorant, corrupt, compromised morons are ever going to defend the Constitution and put the brakes on leftist lunacy and tyranny. Dream on.
Considering that they have the power to completely upend and/or destroy people’s lives, they should get much worse than merely disbarred.
That's certainly a valid point, but look at what Sotomayer and Breyer said, Breyer: there were "750 million new covid cases yesterday", and Sotomayer: "there were 100,000 Children in ‘Serious Condition’ from Covid".
Neither has corrected the record on these totally false statements. No thinking person would let such wild falsities go by without a correction. The only possible explanation is stupidity.
One doesn't have to be smart to become a lawyer. There are thousands of examples of this. Even more egregious is that one doesn't have to be a smart lawyer to become a Supreme Court Justice. This is particularly true on the Left. Just remember the old adage attributed to Napolean: "Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence".

Yes, she is that stupid and ignorant. You can tell she’s never even opened a serious historical study or book. People like that don’t even CONSIDER that someone they come into contact with are knowledgeable and able to see through their fake “knowledge” and lies. Those are the dumbest of all.
