“An agenda gets set when you control committees and set the floor calendar.”
_______________________________________________
Nothing is preventing the GOP house from stating a proposed legislative proposal agenda, that they plan on executing when they get the majority, ahead of the mid terms.
They don’t operate in a vacuum or at least they shouldn’t. The GOP house should be ready to hit the ground running with a policy agenda they hope to set and proposals they desire for floor consideration.
I’m not sure why McConnell is pissing this person off. McConnell wouldn’t be leader of the house, McCarthy would. McCarthy would have the power/final say to control which legislative actions and proposals would be floored and of course the senate would need to be involved but if McCarthy were to not allow something to be floored, that could be all there is to it and the senate would never see it.
By the way, you can blame Wood and people who listened to him all you want, but you’re kidding yourself and nobody with any real sense believes that, including you I believe. The GOP/RNC RINOs underfunded Perdue and Loeffler (because of their Trump support, and they’ll do it again with Perdue) and Georgia had massive election fraud.
Raphael Warnock D $57,117,111
Jon Ossoff D 54,886,783
David Perdue R 28,589,916
Kelly Loeffler R 26,995,653
Read the story again, not just the headline. No where does the quote that they are basing the story off of say that there won’t be an agenda in 2023 if the Republicans take the Senate. That was just the Grifter’s take on it.
Red Badger already figured out what the story actually says, and why it doesn’t match with the headline. Can you?
