MMA fighter
My son told me about Rogan a year or so ago. Son is 33. I found this young man, Frank, and I listen to him almost every day.
Well it’s not like Rogan’s podcast is audio only like podcasts originally were so I think the comparison with cable is fine. Way better than a comparison with Rush but people seem unable to get over Rush and so they grasp for any sort of replacement. Rogan’s not that. He smokes pot and drinks on his show and it’s not all politics by any means.
Tucker started his new Tucker Carlson Today show and if I had to guess, in the mold of Rogan. He does one hour interviews which are also good.
Rogan usually has a bunch of people on that I’ve never heard of and have no interest in like fellow MMA fighters. He also has comedians on and had Ron White not too long ago which was good.
I did not know that he was a UFC fighter. Interesting. He is obviously a very bright guy, no denying that.
There is so much I don’t know. I find, as I have gotten older that I know far, FAR less than I used to as a young man...:)
You mean the guy that thinks Big Mike is the Bees Knees?
Rogan says Obama was a great president.........says it all about the jerk.
I can’t disagree with your comparison because I haven’t watched the full Malone interview yet...:)
That said, I was extremely impressed with his interview of Dr. McCullough, especially since Rogan is non-medical.
I too have some familiarity with doctors...and that is what impressed me about Dr. McCullough.
When I was a plane captain/jet mechanic in the USN a long time ago, I found that you could often tell the good pilots from the rest even though you aren’t a pilot and have never flown a plane, and certainly won’t fly in a plane with them. You can tell. You can tell by the way they do their pre-flight inspections, by the way they interact with people, and how they report problems. You can tell.
Same with doctors. The nurses and techs can tell who the exceptional physicians are, who the middle of the road ones are, and the ones to avoid...there are those.
Dr. McCullough clearly is one of the exceptional ones. His focus was on the patients, not the politics, which is everything in this context.
Ah. Into UFC, but not a participant I guess? Heh, that’s okay, he kind of looks like he could be a participant...:)
I had never heard of Rogan until comments about him began appearing on FR. I still know nothing about him. What channel is featuring him? Is he really outdoing Tucker by over three to one?
So, we require lockstep- my way or the highway broadcasts? For me there are some non-negotiables, like abortion, and other things I can hold my nose and live with.
Yes, I totally agree about Dr. McCullough, he’s the doctor you want. Rogan was better with Malone, but he is a different person too.
I am probably going to watch the whole interview tonight...thanks for your perspective.
Another one is Clyde Lewis out of Portland
