Of course, some of us think that “vintage” TV is in 4:3 ratio, and usually in black and white.
I binge on Burns and Allen. Speaking of William Shatner, the first broadcast Burns and Allen featured the Kleebob skit, which certainly inspired Fizzbin in “A Piece of the Action”, only Burns and Allen did it MUCH better.

Watched several/many older series. Some comedy, some drama.
Everything from mid-50s to mid 70s.
Believe it or not, right now we’re going through the 5 seasons of Leave It to Beaver. After decades of hearing how unreal it is (yes that’s true) I’m surprised by the quality of the acting and writing. Forgot all about the fun interplay between the parents and couples. Very enjoyable. First year it seems every vehicle was a 1957 Ford, except one episode there was a Merc.
Even with the unrealistic family interactions it’s still very nostalgic. My sister said it pretty well, “It wasn’t our family - not even close - but it was what we would have loved to have had.”
