The airline mask rules are ridiculous. They say you MUST wear a mask...except when eating or drinking. Therefore all one has to do is nurse a coffee or beer and you can go thru the almost the entire flight mask-free. That is what I would do.

Well, American and Delta now, at least publicly, say that one has to put their masks on between bites and sips. It is insane.
