Isn’t this criticism a bit harsh? Surely she is as competent as Millard Fillmore’s Vice President.
She pretty much transcends any historical American government yuckiness and goes straight to that most epic of examples of institutional rot, late stage Rome.
Perhaps it is a lack of understanding of the Fillmore administration, more than likely, though, it is a sense that Harris is a low that you can’t come back from. Save what you can save and move on, y’know?
