BKMRK.
Some good info here, if you can get past the personal attacks.
Lots of beer worked for me.
Hope things are improving for him.
My daughter is 39 and she tested positive for Covid last week. Got it last Friday at a Christmas Party (nearly everyone in her office caught it from the office manager’s husband who came to the party). She felt crappy for several days and the last couple of days she’s getting better. Lots of bed time and soups and rest. Hopefully, your son will get better soon and he’ll get the best from this - natural antibodies that the vax can’t give him....
He seems bit better. Enough that he is getting crabby. Can’t stand chicken noodle, or anything sweet. He has a friend close by. He is taking food, but not much. Taking his temp and oxygen, so I know the numbers are good.
A recent telehealth appt made clear they can only follow FDA and CDC guidelines. Tylenol and a multivitamin for covid. Almost identical advice from long time family doctor in a large multi site practice. Seem to be reading from the same sheet of music. Makes sense really they want to collect the insurance check and stay out of trouble. Who wants the cancel mob after them. I used to believe before the pandemic that doctors had more autonomy than they actually do
8 hour waits for a telehealth appt, no tests or MABs available, extreme coercion toward centrally planned, one size fits all medicine, two years into the pandemic. I think this is a trust disaster for public health officials and the medical profession, IMHO.
Vitamin Shoppe is overpriced and don't give money to Bezos. I use Swanson Vitamins for Quercetin and other supplements.
