We all hope local law enforcement won’t enforce unconstitutional (anti-constitutional) laws, but some will and some have in Oregon (link below). The last line of defense against these increasingly totalitarian decrees from wannabe despots are local officials. Will they resist? The BIG TYRANT has no power without their army on mini-tyrants to do the dirty work.

Jackson County has Southern Oregon United, a 6,000 student college that draws the usual leftists to the staff and service industries in the surrounding town. Politically, it is a purple county, won narrowly by Trump twice. The surrounding Oregon counties were won by Trump by double digit or better margins.

Purple counties may elect Republicans to local offices, but they tend to be Assistant Democrats.
