Soon coming to a business in California?
I remember a meeting a friend of mine from high school after he’d spent a year in college down there. He told me the police found a dead guy in a train station in Newark who had a spear through his throat. This would have been in 1974 or ‘75.
Hubert Williams, Newark’s first black police chief was a real piece of work. Google says he died in 2020.
One of my in-laws went to college in newark in the late 60s. Parked his GTO on the street. Came out and his car would not start. Someone took his engine!
Around the same time a copper was doing traffic control at the major downtown intersection. One of the local denizens came up behind him and hit him in the mid back with a hatchet mid day. To his credit the copper took him out with six.
