Most Christians believe that God has an important calling for each person, citing Luke 1:15 about John the Baptist or about Jeremiah 1:5: “Jeremiah, I am your Creator, and before you were born, I chose you to speak for me to the nations.” But it seems that for most protestants this applies to all men except the woman who gave birth to Jesus!!! God does not do anything by chance. If I wrote or spoke about your mother as many protestants write or speak about Mary, the Mother of Jesus, what would you think of me??? What does Jesus think of you?!? I am happy when someone honors my mother. Jesus also is happy when someone honors his Mother! Jesus lived the Ten Commandments better than anyone, including the Fourth Commandment: Honor your father and mother! I think this verse does not apply to most protestants: “From now on all generations will call me blessed” (Lk 1:48).
Christians correctly honor Mary by not ascribing to her the false abilities Rome does such as being able to hear everyone’s prayer or appearing as apparitions proclaiming a different gospel.
