Government schools were infiltrated by communists long ago (as were colleges, MSM and the Democrat Party), and indoctrinate rather than teach. Hence all the sheeple rolling up their sleeves, over and over again.
The expert is Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt,”Dumbing Down America”, still kicking in her 90s.
Marxists were well rooted in my university, Villanova, in the mid-70s.
Nearly every teacher in this nation, ( government and private) were trained by godless Marxists in Marxist-run universities.
