Yes, the same in our universities where only "acceptable" professors are given tenure and then promotions. The rest are driven out if they show any conservative tendencies.

Hollywood is the same. Many corporations, especially technology corporations (software) are like this also.

They keep creating massive echo chambers and only see dissent as "hate" and "evil".
