To: Pontiac

Martin was a very funny show, if you are into Fresh Prince of Bel Aire type Sit-Coms. Not even this (2nd Tier) comedy could be flimed nowadays though; too many people would be triggered.

One character the main character (Martin Lawrence) used to play was a very dishonest, low IQ midget street beggar who talked a lot of BS. His nose was always running.
It was hilarious.

Thanks for the context.

I am frequently at a loss when it comes to TV references.

I was almost totally TV deprived through the 1980’s on.

First I could not afford cable during the 80’s in an area where TV signal was weak at best.

Then when I finally got cable I was on shift work and watching a series was frustrating because I would miss episodes due to being at work,

So, I pretty much didn’t watch much beyond news, documentaries and movies.

Today I am pretty much the same.

The preoducers necessity to be Woke and have Gays or Trans in every series has totally alienated me from most TV.
