I don’t follow what you’re saying there. When I signed up for Part D none of the plans I looked at were limited to any one pharmacy chain.

That’s my experience as well. I recently reviewed about half a dozen plans with an insurance broker and none of them were restricted to one pharmacy chain.

Here in Florida, many of the advantage plans include otc freebees. Some $45 a quarter, some as high as $160/quarter. There is a catalog, and CVS seems to be contracted to fulfill these for many outfits.

WellCare and Aetna for two contract with CVS. This has nothing to do with the Rx benefits you cite.
