the vote totals are virtually reversed, 175k for Biden, while the incumbent Rep won with 171k. Conversely, Trump got 153k while the Dem house loser rec’d 156k. The other two districts hold fairly close, like the history of every election ever. There is very little movement from the top of the ballot to the bottom.
Further, Reps had been gaining in the last 3 elections within this district.
It would be wonderful to hear how someone like Donna Brazille or another Dem talking head, Joe Scarborogh, explain how this corner of Nebraska pivoted from historical trends and from the rest of Nebraska at the presidential level but not on the down ballot votes.
One would have to be insane to assume everything in district 2 is on the up and up.
