This. A micron is a Greek letter, used in lots of stuff all over the place. It has a good ominous sound, and is used in quite a lot of games similar to this Microsoft one

Omicron is just a letter of the alphabet. It means a small ‘o’, as opposed to the ‘o’ Omega represents.
