Does the same principle apply for a bearded lady?

(For either old-style or new-fangled bearded lady, that is?)

Louisiana politician Huey Long used to deride the Mayor of New Orleans, an enemy, as “Turkey Neck” Wamsley, a appelation that every picture of the man bore out. Decades later, his descendants were still rankled about it.

Scariest two minutes of life was crossing the old Huey P Long bridge.

I remember that infernal bridge. Even at its best, the Huey P. Long offered a nerve-wracking transit. For novice drivers though like I was when I attended Tulane University, it was as if psychotic sadists had been given the chance to make a bridge: poorly designed approaches, a steep slope, narrow lanes, crazy drivers, heavy traffic, and inadequate signage made the Huey P. Long a nightmare.

Most memorably, my first transit was when I got talked into driving a student reporter friend across the bridge in the wee hours on a Friday morning so that he could report on a massive refinery fire across the river. The trip back a few hours later then had to be made during rush hour, with the windshield of my car hazy with goo from the refinery fire.
