Botswana drew my eye. A few months ago, there was some grumblings on the trade deficit with China, falling from 44M to 2M while imports from China increased to $151M. This was followed in August by announcements from the Botswanian govt and China that China was going to lead in re-training their nurses and medical staff...Part of that announced program was provision of PPE. And three months later, B.1.1.529 Botswana (omicron) (Nov 2021) - an offshoot of an older variant called B.1.1 .(other B.1.1’s are P2-Brazil; UK/US-Alpha; Russian)

I'm not in favor of panic moves. According to gov't, nearly half the US has been infected already. Typically, vars become less dangerous and faster spreading. I'm OK with that.

I don’t view Dr Faux-si as incompetent, more like malevolent. He was probably in on the planning of this event and that’s why his reactions are so inconsistent, he has to maximize the spread but also the disruptions. He can’t appear too obvious or he would have been gone during the Trump administration and even perhaps in this one. At the same time, he can’t do too many obviously correct things because that would end the pandemic and therefore the great reset which is what this is really designed to do. China knows this and has co-operated, and now seeks an advantage although I don’t think this is entirely a Chinese-run operation, it’s a hybrid of Chinese and globalist direction. We’re being played on a massive scale but it’s good to see that at least some, quite a few here, can see this.
I hate to have to point it out but there are 24 proteins the naturally immune have antibodies/Tcells/Bcells for. The vaxed have antibodies/T/B for 1. 24 proteins have to mutate for escape from natural immunity. 1 has to mutate for escape from vax immunity.
This variant has mutated that 1 sufficiently to apparently escape vax immunity. It is unknown if all of the other 23 have mutated sufficient to escape natural immunity but that is as likely as rolling snake eyes 10,000 times in a row at the craps table. 23! is exactly: 1 in 25852016738884976640000 to give perspective. Those are not the actual odds but they are in that sort of astronomical realm.
