That was a quote from the TV Show Mentalist as the boss was addressing a stupid question from a reporter. There had been a shooting in which three or four people had been shot inside their office and he was asked how he felt.

As strange as it sounds, this happened in my extended family.

There are several members of the family, who despite getting both vaccinations and the booster, are strongly paranoid about the virus.

One of them held a Thanksgiving dinner for some of the family - her immediate family and a few others. She had everyone do a nasal swab test before coming into the house.

I’ve had both vaccinations and the booster. I’m generally a go along to get along guy on many things - but this may have been the moment where I put my foot down and said “I will not be in attendance”.

If you are going to engage in dumbassery, the Covid test in the garage makes dumbassery sense. The Vax card does not as vaccinated people can still spread Covid.

But it is really just a Control and Obedience issue
