I have seen other people suggest this as a potential goal for this "vaccine", but I am not persuaded that this is an effort to control population. I will keep the idea in the back of my mind, but for the time being i'm going with government incompetence and the desire of the manufacturers to make huge profits for a government mandated product.
I understand—it is always more comforting to think bad stuff happens due to greed combined with incompetence.
It keeps our world calm and normal....

They use an example of a vaccine to kill people (from a Star Trek episode):

There is a _lot_ more where this comes from...all you have to do is pay attention—and not turn away when you hear something that scares you.
