Directed verdict after prosecution rests. This is all coming out during the prosecution’s presentation of their “case”. Amazing!
Standard practice is that the defense does so at the close of the state’s case. If they do so before that State will claim they still have more evdidence to provide and motion will be denied.

When the Defense has enough information to state that not only did the prosecution NOT make a case, but also violated Kyle’s civil rights and created a scenario where unlawful prosecution was used for political purposes.
Then they will ask for dismissal.
Dismiss, with prejudice!
Why would they? If granted, that's the end of their gravy train.
