It’s not just that county. The mail in vote was baked in to the results in other counties. It’s heavily D EVERYWHERE. The problem with Bergen is that only the in-person vote was posted by the AP.
A similar thing happened in VA Beach and Chesterfield. Youngkin was winning both by double-digits. Once the mail-in vote was tallied, the gap narrowed to single digits.
Mail in vote almost always runs 70-80% for the Democrats in the vast majority of States. The only exceptions are places like Utah, which is very Republican, and exclusively uses mail-in voting for everyone.
Where there is a choice, Republicans tend to want to vote in person and on election day. Democrats like to vote early, and they LOVE voting by mail.
What do you know? Your opinion on this is of little comfort.
“Democrats like to vote early, and they LOVE voting by mail.”
Perhaps social justice groups and Democrat operatives go door to door and make sure the mail in ballots are completed and mailed.
I remember being at a polling place in 2008 in south Florida to hold my nose and vote for John McCain in an effort to defeat Obama. Two school buses pulled up in front of the polling place. Democrat operatives opened the bus doors and the passengers, wearing Obama buttons and hats, literally staggered out of the bus and were escorted by the operatives into the polling place. The “voters” appeared to have been herded into the buses from the street. Almost all were obviously drunk or stoned. Many were laughing and some danced. As they signed in an operative gave instructions to each to vote for Obama and the other Democrats.
In Florida a favorite tactic of Democrat operatives is to go to nursing homes to assist the residents in filling out absentee ballots.
What is the Republican counter to these efforts to create votes?
It is just too convenient. The last votes to be added purely from mail-in voting...it’s like ‘just in time voting’ - have the extras ready.
