his institution is falling victim to communism," said one former employee who publicly resigned from Mayo Clinic in protest of its vaccine mandate..
A large crowd of protesters marched through downtown Rochester Monday in protest of Mayo Clinic’s vaccine mandate, which could put as many as 8,000 people out of work.
The demonstration lasted for more than four hours, according to video of the event, as protesters carried signs calling for an end to “medical tyranny” and chanting “shame on Mayo.”
To comply with the Biden administration’s federal vaccine mandates, Mayo Clinic informed its employees that they must receive a COVID-19 vaccine or a medical or religious exemption by Nov. 8, according to Med City Beat. Unvaccinated employees without exemptions will be placed on unpaid leave on Dec. 3. If they’re still not vaccinated by Jan. 3, 2022, they will be terminated.
Med City Beat reports that about 8,000 Mayo Clinic employees are unvaccinated.
One Mayo Clinic employee, Kalley Newkirk, went public with her resignation last week.
“I am one, of many, who is resigning from Mayo Clinic, due to the recent email sent to Mayo Clinic Staff and contractors, indicating mandatory COVID-19 vaccination,” Newkirk said in her resignation letter, which she published on Facebook.
“I am not an anti-vaxxer. I have every other vaccine under the sun! I believe in science, I believe in research, but what I don’t believe in: politics getting involved in personal health choices. It breaks patient autonomy, and it is monopolizing the healthcare industry. This institution is falling victim to communism,” she continued.
Hundreds of protesters also gathered at the Minnesota Capitol Saturday to protest vaccine mandates.
Claiming there’s a pandemic while firing thousands of hospital workers.....ping.
They foresee the consequences alright. They planned everything to achieve the wretched consequences.
And please attach a completely stocked pharmacy to your clinic.
What if Trump and family started one. LOL!
Yes. Concierge Clinics.
“Get me Ham on Five, Hold the Mayo!”
I’m glad that I several years ago decided that beyond whatever I can do for myself, to accept whatever God or fate has in store for me and not submit myselfs to the tender ministrations of the money grubbing hospitals.
Because there aren’t going to be enough people left to take care of anyone beyond the super elite.
😀
That would work for me.
Health care costs are outrageous.
Something like that could save a lot of people a lot of money.
about 10% of some 60K employees total
“Mayo Clinic says its staff vaccination rate is at 88%, and the health system is requiring the vaccine in consideration of the safety of patients and staff.”

You’re braindead for even quoting CNN
Florida might take them.
THATS the name I was trying to think of.
BTW, my clinic provides for in home medical care also.
Remember when doctors made house calls? Its better to see some of the elderly at home than have them struggle to get to the office.
Yup..or like in my area, provide bus services to the boarder where a person can purchase meds for cheap.
I.E. my COPD meds are less than the copay I have for my insurances. That is about 600 dollars worth of meds for less than 50 bucks.
Cleveland Clinics is the same way. Good doctors, but hold onto your wallet. They will try very hard to get you to stay so they can charge exorbitant inpatient rates even though you are only there “for observation.” Trouble for you is, insurance companies don’t like paying impatient rates for “observation”.
Probably one of the best summations I've heard or seen printed to date.
And you would also need a well-equipped militia.
This post is just AWSOME!!
That’s one thing I’ll miss with cruising — getting cheap OTC drugs in Mexico. In February of 2020, we bought Cipro and some other drugsb at the pet in Belize. If we had known the future, ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc., would’ve been on our shopping list, too.
