If I had been in that situation when the guy went to his car, reached in for something, and started back toward me I very well might have shot him. That looked extremely threatening to me.
I hope that the next we hear of this old guy is that he has been fired from his pizza delivery job. If not, the pizza place will be liable should he physically attack someone since they are now on notice of his instability. I would not be surprised to hear that he has already been in a physical altercation or two.
