I’ve worked with some Los Alamos scientists. A fair number of them are smart at one thing but mule stupid at everything else.

I don’t think that’s it. I think the vast majority of scientists working at my previous employer (another DOE lab) support the vaccines — I personally don’t know any who don’t. I could see a few of my old colleagues feeling uncomfortable about mandates, but I’d be pretty surprised to learn that any opposed the vaccines.
