11. Cat Food.

My cat would rank that at #1. But yeah, you’re right. Quality wet cat food is now hard to get. The shelves in the pet section of my grocery story are mostly empty.
I thought that was just a fluke at first. But it’s been going on for a couple of months now.
Dog food too but not as apparent. It will be soon. My brand/type is out with an unknown restock time. While I did stock up for a 6 months supply; it will run out at some point too.
I'm not big on chips and other snack food I do like the low carb flavored rice cakes. Haven't seen those on the shelves in a month or more.
Yes...I’m having great trouble finding cat food.
+1
So far not seen pet food shortages, just the HIGH PRICES. 4 LB $20.00. Unless you are getting the very low end.
Gets much worse it will be a 2 egg/cheese/canned veggie omelet divided.
I’ve got 2 12 lb pet-aholics, their food has been measured per the bag’s label, with 1 treat for teeth cleaning a day, Vet loves I don’t let them get fat as many lapdogs get. They get fed once a day, fallen people food is a bonus.
But human items is another story. My Thursday Kroger trip was a nightmare 2 cashiers, nearly empty milk products, berries empty, plenty of over priced raw veggies, I can’t digest, even de-seeded. Fruit is sugar not on Type 2 Diabetic list. Carbs either, but bread was spotty spots. I read labels for Sodium, Sugar, Carbs. So frozen stuff and lots of meat/seafood is now frozen, changes how it cooks. FULL ISLES HALLOWEEN CANDY, SODA, CHIPS, BOOZE.
Hygiene items doubled in price, senior stuff especially, Fixodent is $2.00 higher than before the stolen election. Really pushing Adult Gummy Bears, weight loss, sleep aids, Supplements in adult dosages, would harm/kill a toddler. Even vids for making your own MMJ, CBD, HEMP ones. Colorado is only state that bans these 3. Watch Fen laced ones show up.
Our veterinarian has had supply shortages for multiple prescription meds and foods for more than six months. Both cats and dogs.
Plenty of pallets available for free around here, but shampoo is scarce. Oddly, conditioner is not.
