Did the seals agree to that when they signed up. I don’t hardly think so.
I would have to agree.
“Did the seals agree to that when they signed up. I don’t hardly think so.”
I asked my Marine buddy and he said, “You basically sign away all of your rights.”
But, if a large enough number of them refuse, what will the Navy do? Recruiting has been a real problem for a while. A massive revolt like this will cause issues. And, the problem will probably go away either in 2022 or 2024.
I’d say, fine. And then go on welfare and work cash jobs on the side. Since I became a low-end landlord I’ve come to realize there is a HUGE underground economy. I had renters who used their EBT cards to buy high end meats and resell them for cents on the dollar to fund beer, cigarettes and drugs. (They both went to jail, but not for that.) Before she moved out she swigged a beer and chain-smoked while she explained all the scams they ran. There were so many I don’t remember them all. A lot of them revolved around EBT cards. There was a run down motel near my old house whose name was “EBT Motel.” Right out there on the road in flashing lights.
Yes. Sailors who accept advanced training agree to obligate service, and agree that failure to complete that service obligation will result in the Navy recouping the cost of that training. This is to discourage people from walking away immediately after getting valuable training. This policy applies to ALL Navy sailors, not just SEALs. Hoft is just using the SEALs as clickbait.
I totally agree. See my comment here:
