My guess is Romney has threatened Mitch and Joe not dare try anything like that or he will defect to Chuckie.

I can see the personality of the liberal party sticking out here that I can equate Schumer’s acts in this meeting to the Afghanistan actions. The only difference here is that the house and senate republicans are so cowardly, they had to depend on a socialist to do the work they should have done as they folded up again.
Schumer’s action should have caused the GOP to do exactly what Manchin did and indicate to Schumer they won’t be treated that way, especially when they made a concession they shouldn’t have and didn’t have to do. But, unfortunately, very like the Afghan people that had no guts to stand up to the Taliban, our milksop leaders voted into both houses are a perfect match for an uneducated third world mentality of a backwards running people.

Naaah! Manchin’s a democRAT. He’ll come back and kissy up to Schumer and vote for the bill in the end. Only Rinos backstab their own party right to the end. Somebody will remind Manchin about the big fat manila envelopes that have come in over the transom. He’ll “come to his senses”. JMHO.
Actually, I'd wager the vast majority of American Jews are not ashamed of Schumer and Dems in general. The vast majority of American Jews are among the leading supporters of the Dems and have been for generations.

Chuckie is cracking under the pressure. If he can’t produce the Sanders/Squad agenda, AOC will primary him and have a good chance of knocking him out. And he knows it.
