I’m concerned about our blood supply. I am considering banking my blood.
blood has a shelf life. no one can bank their blood. the supply has been tainted since the 70s...
i am only guessing that vaccinated blood will soil the unvaccinated through transfusions.
That came up in a coffee shop conversation the other day. What if it was found that those who took the vaccine could no longer donate blood?
I’ve done autologous blood donation before a couple surgeries. (That God, never had to use it.) It can be kept for only a short time — days, IIRC. But that was 20 years ago, and things might’ve improved since then.
What I thought was weird was that I told them to add it to the blood bank, and I was told it’s not possible; it had to be discarded.
