I agree. As I read the report, in looking at cases per 100,000:
Starting at about age 40, you are MORE likely to get the virus if you are vaccinated. HOWEVER, you are FAR more likely to need hospitalization or die if you have NOT been vaccinated.
Thus the vaccines are saving lives.
In GA we are 44% vaxxed and 56% unvaxxed:
Ga DPH data (from Jan 2 to Oct 5, vax was rolled out to the gemeral population in April)
Breakthrough Cases - 60,183
Hospitalizations of breakthrough cases - 2,300 (3.82%)
Deaths of breakthrough cases - 758 (1.26%)
Unvaccinated (including partially vaxxed and vaxxed <14 days)
Cases - 814,643
Hospitalizations of - 36,242 (4.44%)
Deaths - 10,205 (1.25%)
I have been tracking this for 5 weeks, the number of vaxxed hospitalizations and deaths are rising faster than the “unvaxxed”
If you adjust by vax/unvaxxed percentages, it is even worse for the vaxxed.
That is not including all of the people vaxxed within 14 days who are part of the unvaxxed numbers.
Not safe. Not effective. Not worth the risk.
