Contains this lovely tidbit:

“But since nearly every chicken in agricultural production throughout the world is vaccinated, Marek’s is a relatively minor problem today.”

Complete dependence on the vaccine otherwise a disease that used to be a minor annoyance would be wiping out flocks wholesale.

“And in fact, data shows mutations occur in unvaxxed people.”

Mutations happen constantly, without any provocation, in RNA viruses.

Covid-19 is an RNA virus. And as this 2009 virology paper on RNA transcription error states:

“RNA polymerases of RNA viruses are the kings of errors – these enzymes screw up as often as one time for every 1,000 – 100,000 nucleotides polymerized. This high rate of mutation comes from the lack of proofreading ability in RNA polymerases. These enzymes make mistakes, but they can’t correct them. Therefore the mutations remain in the newly synthesized RNA.

No, seriously. Answer the question.

What are your particular qualifications and credentials? Why should anyone listen to you?

Yes.

Here is the point. In vaccinated people, the virus does not replicate, and therefore cannot mutate.

Mutations occur in those who are not vaccinated.

Thanks for exposing yourself as a total BS artist.

Your conclusion is incorrect. If the industry is dependent on the vaccine it is because of overcrowding, stress, and the horrid way chickens are kept in mass farming.

And, among other factors, there is exposure. If you are not vaxxed but never exposed, it won’t matter.

Killer T cells and other parts of the immune system crater after getting the jab. Good luck vaxxers when the next illness or variant hits you.

You don’t know that. And it could become something with an effective treatment given upon dx. Like rabies or yersinia.

I get it that what you are saying is what most experts are saying. I am just being an eternal optimist on thus.

Maybe you should bother to actually read the article. Overcrowding and stress have nothing to do with it. The research says this is happening with COVID due to the leaky vaccines that were developed to narrowly target the spike protein.

You want to dismiss this as someone's opinion but it is an observed fact published in several research papers. I provided links.

If we were only vaccinating the at risk population the selection pressure would not be nearly so great. But your headlong jihad to vaccinate every living soul reminds me of a a Wile E. Coyote scheme.

Yes I read most of them. This is the same idea that I responded to in another place here, about vaxxed people carrying the more dangerous forms of covid because they are immune (from being vaxxed) to the others.

But I am with the conventional wisdom on this one, and it is only a theory.

I will go see if I can find that series of posts.

You still have to consider context.

Its a chicken and egg argument, no pun intended.
And it didn’t hold up historically.

Additional thoughts, not sure how much you are into medicine, but there are enough epitopes on the spike protein for us to create polyclonal responses to Moderna and Pfizer,
Whose instructions include the entire spike protein.

Everything published is not fact, just observation. The conclusions drawn can be variable.

There is no such thing as selection pressure on a virus.

Since delta, everyone is at risk. And remember where delta came from - a completely unvaxxed population.

There is no such thing as selection pressure on a virus.

I posted a ton of research that says otherwise.

Since delta, everyone is at risk. And remember where delta came from - a completely unvaxxed population.

Wrong again. Whether or not delta emerged from a vaccinated or unvaccinated individual will never be known -- there were ongoing vaccine trials at the time. But the selection pressure occurs because the population gains some immunity -- the environment changes and a variant that either wasn't a factor or a minor player moves in to fill the void left when you selected out the dominant variant.

This is why some were saying from the beginning that you shouldn't try to vaccinate your way out of a pandemic: at best you are rolling the dice on what comes next.

And trying to vaccinate your way out of a pandemic with a leaky vaccine isn't just unwise, it is collosal arrogance. It is the functional equivalent of giving the entire population low dose antibiotics. And we should all know the consequences of overusing antibiotics by now.

Extrapolating from our chicken work to argue against vaccination because of the delta variant has no scientific rationale: The delta variant would have become dominant even if everyone refused vaccination.

I am not sure how they came to that conclusion, but I do see several Pollyanna statements in this article not backed up by any facts or research. Such statements don't have any more basis in reality than someone claiming, "We're all going to die!"

So far we have been lucky. Unfortunately that too produces a careless attitude that converges toward unintended consequences.

Well here is where we will part ways. Your beliefs are way too conspiratorial for me.

Also there were no vaccines trials in India in 2020! 😂😂😂

The author of the chicken research himself says in the above link that we still need to vax. Which kinda deflates the use of his research for your position.

I suspect you didn't read his link..so here is what he said..

"The paper has gone viral because some people are using it to stoke paranoia that the COVID-19 vaccines will cause the virus to evolve in the direction of even more severe variants.Doctors have told me that patients are using the paper to justify their decision to not get vaccinated. Some pundits are even using it to urge an end to vaccination campaigns in order to prevent the sort of viral evolution we were studying in chickens.

"Nothing in our paper remotely justifies an anti-vaccine stance."

He is doing nothing more than keeping himself from being a victim of the vaccine jihad. The actual published research says otherwise.
