In 2007, the last year for which I can find data, 816,615 Americans between 65-81 died. 938,950 Americans over 81 died in that year as well. In the average 14 day period that works out to 67,337 of which 31,322 were under 82 and 36,015 older. While demographics and mortality have changed since then, 48,465/67,337 = 72%, which is probably about the percentage of folks who are both Medicare patients and have received the jab.
All this illustrates is how easily you can incite a bunch of excitable people with silly “statistics”. There is absolutely nothing alarming about these numbers.
