In this one we leave it up to the USPS and the NCOA file.
Having moved is no problem if you're still in state.

I have to show my ID showing my address in the right voting precinct in order to vote for the mayor/town council/local reps. In what universe do you live? They don't let people in other towns vote for our mayor.
But maybe you don't pay attention to local politics. A lot of folks don't - just b*tch about it all the time instead.

When your address changes, your precinct (and therefore polling location) may change as well. Always update your voter registration when you move.
