Which will make any supreme court decisions moot on the constitution issue and puts the abortion issue squarely on the backs of the congress and senate, what should have been done in 1973. Now the voters can get at their congress people and senators directly instead of the legislature playing “hide behind the court games. The bad news is that it will now take(if this passes the senate) a constitutional amendment to restore states rights on the issue and to ban most forms of abortion outright!

The legislation would erase basically all restrictions on abortion and prevent states from enacting even modest protections for unborn babies.

This is in the area of State Government power, and even then I cannot imagine allowing some of this type of butchery.
