The thing I hate about Rumble is that to see comments or comment I have to verify my account with my actual cell phone number - unlike Youtube, where I can at least be “mostly” anonymous.

They likely have to do that. If they didn’t they would get attacked by 100,000 liberal trolls causes problems trying to get them shut down

It’s unfortunate, but it’s one of the best ways to ensure bots are creating 1,000’s of spamming accounts. You setup an account with your cell number. Rumble texts back a verification number to your phone, which you then have to enter. It prevents duplicate accounts for the same person too, unless you own multiple cell phones.
