Well that’s it. The government of australia, a one-time nice country, has turned against its citizens. australia is now a totalitarian dictatorship. Citizens who were walking near the police were sprayed and knocked to the ground AND sprayed.
I mourn for the failed experiment called “Western Civilization.” I see that the order of countries to fall will be australia, UK, canada, USA. That gives us some time, but I see nothing happening that can or will block the downfall.

I agree with most of what you say but the worst governments in Australia are state and local. ScoMo, the Prime Minister is a passionate revivalist Christian who cannot get the numbers to always follow his conscience. The Australian conservative side of politics is Like the Republican party when Rockefeller was powerful. The leading conservative party is called the Liberal Party. In terms of winning elections that name was a brilliant win the middle ground strategy. John Howard was a very conservative PM who won four elections in a row but he had to take guns away from people to do that. But overall he and Tony Abbott were the closest Oz has had to a Goldwater or Reagan or Nixon. But watch Clive Palmer. If we have a Trump or Perot, Palmer is the guy. He spent 60 million bucks in 2019 which saw ScoMo have an against the polls win over Labor Partys corrupt Bill Shorten. Palmer is running again on an anti lockdown reduce govt campaign for the election due in the next half a year or so.
