French Health Workers Suspended For Not Getting Vaccinated
On Wednesday French Health Minister Olivier Veran said that three thousand health care workers were suspended without pay for being unvaccinated.
His move came on the day designated by the government for workers either to be vaxxed or face the disciplinary action.
Veran claimed that many of those suspended had agreed to be vaccinated and would soon return to work.
Official figures published Tuesday from "Public Health France" said 89.3 percent of nurses and 89.8 percent of paramedics had been vaccinated in the country. Some 95 percent of workers in nursing home facilities also reported to have been vaccinated.

Today in France more Health Freedom protests across the country in opposition to vaccine passports and forced vaccination swelling the ranks of the Yellow Vests movement.
Last week's government estimate some 121,000 participants in the demonstrations the hope of government and media appears to be seeing fewer protesters than that on the streets today. Le Nombre Jaune Facebook estimated 193,477 protesters last Saturday.
The protests part of a bigger picture of Worldwide Day Of Freedom protests that began in Australia and will occur around the world during the day at 12 Noon local time.
