About 30 years ago after a really close call with an instant threat of death from an industrial hazard I had unwittingly placed myself in, I realized that at some point in time we all are going to die.

After that incident involving lots of voltage, I took a whole different attitude towards living, and stopped thinking about death. Those thoughts never really enter my mind because by all rights I should have been struck dead on that day 30 years ago.

One thing you should do if you think you’re going to die relatively soon, is to get your affairs in order for your family’s sake. That way the transition into a life without you (or me) is much easier on them.
