I've heard that claim before, but - of course - Politifact declared it "mostly false."

According to several articles I looked at regarding Covid treatments in India, I saw that Ivermectin WAS in use during that spike, but that it was withdrawn from use on June 7th shortly before the end of the spike.

But another article stated that it was again in use in August. Articles also mentioned several other drugs that I've never heard of that are widely used in India, but different articles named different drugs. One article mentioned HCQ, but another article said it was withdrawn on June 7th along with Ivermectin. To sum up: I don't know what to believe.

Since late June, new cases in India are higher than at the low point last year, but are following a flat line with no increase in nearly three months.
