Life was clearly better when half of North America was under a mile of ice.

"Life was clearly better when half of North America was under a mile of ice."

I recommend that everyone read a book on natural history. That will show them the dramatic geological and climate changes that occurred before the rise of human civilization. We had continental drift and the rise and fall of mountain ranges, the appearance and disappearance of great lakes, the creation of vast deserts in formerly lush areas, we had ice ages and warm periods, the extinction of many species, yet the alarmists try to panic us about normal coastal erosion or the disappearance of a reef or sand bar.

For sure, there were a lot fewer drive by shootings, when Chicago was buried under a mile of ice.
