God Bless your Father.

My Dad died at 96 in 2018, and he was similar to yours. He was a WWII hero thru 4 campaigns in Europe, and in the Battle of The Bulge, as a Sgt Combat Engineer, with Patton, after he landed on D-Day. He was wounded by a nazi sniper in the Ardennes and made it back home to recuperate, with many medals. He worked with me thru to Eagle Scout, and left an indelible impression that only a Loving Father could.

Dad was in Patch's 7th and Patton's 3rd. In Belgium, Germany and CZ.

He missed the Bulge by 2 weeks. He was sent to a 2nd training school because of some testing they gave him.

Thank you for story about your father, we both own them a great debt. The nation owes them one. And the world owes them one.

They were incredible men.

May God continue to Bless the USA with such men.
