River North *is* a historically white and affluent neighborhood...it includes Michigan Avenue and Streeterville. It’s turning into a no-go zone, thanks to incompetent ideologues in city and county office. The troublemakers don’t live there, they come up from the south side via the Red Line, and have turned the Mag Mile into “Muggers’ Mile”.
The stories coming out of River North and the Loop are reminiscent of the slow collapse of the city’s west side in the 1960s.
There is nothing in Chicongo you need from savages. This applies to every city in America that blacks have unilaterally ruined. Name a good black neighborhood...anywhere.

Unfortunately groups of young people from other parts of the city go to the River North neighborhood and fighting and crime come with them.
One more thing. It isn't the color of the people in the neighborhood that matters. It is the culture and usually the poverty level of the people in the neighborhood.
There are plenty of majority black neighborhoods that are perfectly safe, and plenty of neighborhoods with white, Hispanic or Asian residents that are far from safe.
There is a word for a gaggle of chims, I just can’t remember it.
