Where in the Constitution does it say the gov’t has the right to rescind property rights? Where does it say landlord rights are subservient to tenant rights? Those dunderheads in DC who are supporting this have not thought it through. The long run consequence will be land use that the income levels of the current tenants will not be able to afford.

As posted above, the Constitution expressly forbids states from ‘impairing the obligations of contracts’.
