There are a WHOLE lot of deer rifle toting bubba’s who learned to shoot as kids and were in the military.
Add to that, there are lot of vets that are civilians now. Many with combat experience.
My late father in law was a Marine in Korea. Kept an M-1 in his tv room. Called it his squirrel gun.
I looked up the numbers today, there are something like 7.5 million vets from just the last 25 years.
If even 10% are motivated to resist, that’s 750,000 people for the regime to deal with.
Probably armed with some of the 5-10 ARs low ball estimates place in American civilians’ hands.
That’s just ARs mind you, there’s upwards of 400,000,000 guns of all types to deal with.
How long after hostilities began would it be until crew served and indirect fire weapons were in the mix on the resisters side?
