My employer mandated the vaccine yesterday. They are headquartered in Massachusetts and I work remotely in Texas. I had a close friend die last week at age 48 of an enlarged heart in Wisconsin after two weeks of getting the second jab. Perfectly healthy. No way I am getting it. I had covid a year ago and the only thing that happened to me is that I lost taste and smell for a month.
Whatever you do don’t resign if you can help it—make them fire you as it may open opportunities down the road for being made whole
Secondly, there are more than a few doctors that can legitimately look at your medical history, allergies, prior vaccine reactions if you have had any, etc and write you a letter recommending against it
If you have a letter from a doc and they are not willing to make reasonable accommodation they are probably exposing themselves under ADA
Glad you got over the virus OK.
Did you go get the IgG IgM and T-cell antibody tests?
The first one is available at Kroger’s and costs $25, and the T-cell one costs more; check T-Detect on the web for locations.
