RE: the Brits and Germans are furious at what is going on and are begging us to extend the timeline because they can’t get everyone out in time.

But we are already doing that... we are BEGGING the Taliban to extend the timeline. In fact, our CIA director was in effect, begging them for mercy... but it’s the TALIBAN you’re talking to, not some civilized entity.

That’s not what I said.

I said that the Brits and Germany need to go direct with the Taliban. Forget about the US. They’re the Shot Callers in this whole thing. They need to come to terms that they cannot rely on the US for anything. Not the CIA Director groveling or CornPop.

They have to realize that they have no friends in DC and are dealing with a group of folks that are so bad at their jobs, they make amateurs look and sound like Jedi Masters.

If I were a betting man, I’d bet that the Taliban might allow the Brits and Germans to get their folks out and, only, their folks. Try to sneak an American and all bets are off. As a sign of good will. As far as the Taliban knows it the US, has always been the US and always be the US.

The Taliban smacks around the UK or Germany, who cares? No one notices. Plus, they have people there and more headed that way.

The Taliban smacks around the USA and the entire world is paying attention. It doesn’t matter how many aircraft carriers, F35s, Delta Force Operators, X Wing Fighters or light sabers the US has, the only thing the world sees is, the most powerful nation on the planet getting played by folks that wipe their butts with their hands.
